FashionWeek Roadshow 2014
Since the establishment of Make-up Studio in the 1980s art, tolerance and diversity are the main ingredients of the DNA of Make-up Studio. Therefore, the brand is the perfect partner for Amsterdam Fashion Week, which appreciates the same values. A match made in heaven!
From 4 - 14 July the 21st edition of the Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam was held. This edition Make-up Studio was responsible for the makeup of the kick-off event, the annual MBFWA Roadshow in which 12 models were showing creations of leading fashion designers. The Make-up Studio team created all the looks under the direction of chef de cabine Judith Looye. As an official start of the Roadshow there was a live demonstration in the Make-up Studio Brand Store shop window, watched by shopping public.
After a spectacular catwalk show trough the city center of Amsterdam, the models got into branded Mercedes-Benz SUVs and followed the fashion parade from Amersfoort, Apeldoorn and Arnhem to Nijmegen. The 12 models were showing the summer collection from famous Dutch designers including Dorhout Mees, Paul Schulten, Spijkers en Spijkers and Tony Cohen.
During the ‘Street Catwalk’ the audience got a unique preview of the Amsterdam FashionWeek with special fashion designs and the latest hair and makeup looks. The show moved to the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, were the Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam took place.
