The best way to paint your nails can be reached by following the step-by-step plan below.

Step 1: Filing
First, you start by file the nails neatly with a nail file. It’s best to do this in advance before the nail polish, otherwise, you will damage the nail polish later.

Step 2: Basecoat
After this step, treat your nails with a base coat. This fills in lines, ridges and grooves in the nails and already provides a nice layer on the nails. The basecoat also helps to create strong nails and prevents discolouration.

Step3: Color lacquer
After the basecoat, you can paint the nails with a color of nail polish of your choice. Make-up Studio has an assortment of more than 100 different colors, so there is always a nail polish that matches your makeup or outfit! It is best not to polish your nails too thick at once. Is the color not bright enough for you? Then you can apply another top-layer of nail polish.

Always apply the first stroke in the center of your nail and then work alternately to the outside.
Make your nail polish strokes in one go, from the cuticle to the end of your nail.

Let the nailpolish dry for a few minutes. Then apply a thin layer of color.
You will see that the color now is optimal. You can finish with some art with a nail art brush!

Step 4: Topcoat
Finally, finish the nails with the topcoat. This prevents the nail polish from wearing (too quickly) and gives them a nice shine and finish. You apply the top coat after your nail polish has dried. The topcoat also ensures that your nails are stronger.

Place the brush against your cuticle and make a stroke all the way to the end of your nail.
Also paint the ends of the nails really well, because this is where the paint wears out the fastest.

Finish it off with some oil for the cuticle. They would love the nourishment!
